My practice focuses on illustration and exploring this within different contexts. I am interested in the ways that illustration can be used within a commercial setting to engage people more with products.

For my main project I have been exploring gender stereotypes and through this, I came to find interest in the gender housework gap and the difference in roles between men and women in the home. Using this as my inspiration, I have designed and illustrated a cleaning brand which aims to draw attention to this issue in a fun, interesting way. I have focused on making the brand bold and colourful so that it stands out from other cleaning products as well as presenting cleaning as an at home workout to make it more engaging. The idea is that this will help to get people thinking about the problem and instil some energy into the cleaning aisle.
